Community Thanksgiving
November 24. As you come to the Community Thanksgiving Service tonight at the Church of God in Dunbar, 6:00 PM, please bring cans of food for the Dunbar Food Pantry.
Evening Service
November 24. Our evening service will be moved to the Church of God for the Community Thanksgiving Service.
Wednesday Evening Service
November 27. No Wednesday Evening Service due to Thanksgiving.
Christmas Cards
December 1. If you would like to give Christmas cards to our church family without sending them through the mail, please drop them off in the Christmas card box in the back hallway.
Christmas Dinner
December 1. Church wide Christmas Dinner at 5:00 PM. This dinner will be covered dish so bring your favorite dish or dessert to share. The church is providing the meat, rolls, and drinks.
Christmas Parade
December 6. The Dunbar Christmas Parade is at 7:00 PM. We will have a float in the parade promoting our church. If you would like to help us in the parade please let the office staff know.
Pancake Breakfast
December 7. Pancake Breakfast with Santa and Friends at Dunbar United Methodist Church from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Prices: Adult $6.00, Children (4-12) $4.00 and children (3 and under) free. All proceeds will go to Backpack Buddies, Feed the Team, and the local food pantry.
Christmas in Appalachia
December 7. Christmas in Appalachia at the Charleston Convention Center Little Theater at 7:00 PM. This will be a night of music put on for a good cause. This event will help provide Christmas backpacks for children in the area. The tickets are $15, and you can purchase them early at the Convention Center Box Office or at the door on the night of the event.

December 8. Advisory Board meeting after the evening service.
Trustees
December 10. Trustee meeting at 6:00 PM.
Business Meeting
December 11. Our Business meeting will be held just before Bible Study time.
Senior Citizen’s Dinner
December 12. We have been invited to Dunbar Primary and Dunbar Intermediate Schools Annual Senior Citizen’s Dinner. The dinner will be held in the cafeteria of the Dunbar Intermediate School and will take place from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

- June – Donations to buy socks and underwear
